Hi @luketsimpson

Is this your real meta tags setting for that page? https://prnt.sc/Pu8ybrHvIaQ3

May I know when you updated this change?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you!

Hi Daisy,

Yes thats the meta tags I have inputted. They have been like that for a couple weeks.

Hi @luketsimpson

In general, it will take a few weeks or even months for Google to crawl and update the change. Rest assured, there is no issue with your setting.

If you change the meta tags for one page, then you can use this Google tool to check: https://metatags.io/

Screenshot for your reference: https://prnt.sc/_QHkI6xqwIp9

You can re-submit that page as well so Google can crawl the page more quickly. Here is the detail guide: https://www.conductor.com/academy/google-index/faq/submit-url/

If you don’t want to re-submit the page, then we just need to wait for Google to index this page automatically then.

Thank you!

@DaisyVo thanks! Good to know I haven’t made any errors on my end. Will just play the waiting game. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thank you for your confirmation. Have a great day ahead for you!

Hi @luketsimpson

Happy to hear you’ve solved your problem! I just checked your website and noticed it’s missing the “Local Business” setting on Google. This feature helps improve local search visibility, allowing users to find your shop on Google Maps and leave reviews, which can boost credibility and influence potential buyers.

Secondly, I noticed your Meta Description is missing important keywords, including your shop name, which can impact your SEO. Additionally, your Meta Title contains redundancy, and the Meta Description exceeds 160 characters, which may affect search performance.

To optimize your SEO, I recommend installing SEOAnt AI Optimizer. It’s trusted by millions of users and officially certified by Shopify for safety.
