Hi, I would like to us a Mailchimp embedded form on my site, but I have some difficulties in getting it to display properly:
-
If I leave the width in Mailchimp empty, it will autoscale. Great! But on desktop it means that the input fields are full page width which I find ugly → my workaround solution: add a fixed with (e.g. 300px). → Is there a proper solution for Dawn theme that works both on desktop as on mobile?
-
If I choose a fixed width (e.g. 300), it will left align on desktop, while I would like to have it centered → solution found to add: #mc_embed_signup {margin: 0px auto !important;}
-
If I want the background of the widget to display e.g. pink colour, when I choose in the colour scheme of Shopify for accent 1, it will hide the text on the embedded form → what to do?
Here is the version when I don’t change the background colour
And this is what it looks like if I change it into accent 1 or accent 2…all text labels have disappeared
Additional question…I would like to use 2 embedded Mailchimp forms: 1 generic in the footer which should - after double opt-in - go the the default subscription confirmation page. And 1 marketing form on a specific page(s) which should - after double opt-in - go to a own url where the subscriber can download a freebie. How can I do this in Mailchimp?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Janna
