how do i change the box size of the main menu so they are ailligned in dawn theme

Hi, i want to change the box sizing of my shopify main menu becouse the menu item words overlap.

using navigation i found that by changing the box-sizing from inherit to inital fixes the problem but when i try to find it or make code to change it it does not work. here is the code i used. thank you.

}

nav.header__inline-menu
box-sizing: initial;
}
