How do I change the footer copyright info in Dawn theme?

I am new to shopify and I would like the footer to read like the following. How would I add the site design info and the date to automatically change?

@CFWags - please go to footer.liquuid file and add your text in the copyright section

Hello,

I am San from MS Web Designer.

Go to Themes > Edit code > sections > footer.liquid > find copyright and paste your text.
