How do I change the style of the "Empty Cart" to match the buttons of my theme?

Topic summary

Align and style the “Empty Cart” control in a Shopify cart to match the theme’s “Checkout” and “Go to cart” buttons. The original link worked functionally but lacked proper styling and centering.

An initial HTML snippet produced a styled button but also left a duplicate “Empty Cart” text, resulting in two instances. The helper advised removing the old link HTML and asked for the store URL to provide exact code; private messaging limitations briefly impeded sharing access.

A revised HTML snippet was then provided with clear guidance on exactly where to insert it in the cart template (shown via screenshot), plus an output example. This resulted in a single, centered, properly styled “Empty Cart” button consistent with the theme.

Outcome: The solution worked as intended; the original poster confirmed success.

Status: Resolved. Images were important for indicating code placement and demonstrating the final appearance.

The button looks nice as well, however I have 2 “Empty Cart” buttons. What should I do to get rid of the black “Empty cart” letters?

Wait can you please share your store URL so I will give the exact HTML to add and you can remove all the old link HTML added so there will be only one Empty Cart button.

I am trying to send you the password to my store through your inbox however it will not let me do it because, it said "none of the users have PM enabled, I am assuming that personal message, I will see if I can enable mines and hopefully you can enable yours, so I can send you the password to my store, for we are not live yet and do not people on this thread trying to purchase anything yet.
