Hi, I created my Shopify through Zendrop. It has already pulled 4 random products into the bestsellers area. I want to change what shows in that section but can’t figure it out. I know if it is on automatic, it can pull them in based on actual sales, but I am not operational yet.
Hi! The “bestsellers” block on most starter themes is just a featured collection. When a store has no sales yet, sorting by “Best selling” will return whatever products were added first, which is why it looks random. To control what appears there you can:

Use a manual collection and sort it yourself – In your Shopify admin go to Products → Collections and open the collection that is being used for the Bestsellers section (sometimes called “Best Sellers” or “Home page”). Change the Sort from Best selling to Manual, then use the “Reorder” or drag‑and‑drop interface to put the products you want to feature at the top. Only the first few items will show on the homepage.

Assign a different collection in the theme editor – In Online Store → Customize, open your home page and find the section labelled Best Sellers/Featured collection. You can point that section at any collection you want. For example you could create a new collection called “Featured products” and add the exact products you want to highlight, then select that collection for the section.
If Zendrop generated its own best‑seller block outside of the theme customiser you may need to edit it through Zendrop’s page builder or remove it and recreate the section in your theme using a standard featured collection block. Once you start getting sales you can switch the collection back to Best selling sorting to let Shopify automatically rank products based on actual order volume.
@Lunatraveltote you can manually add bestseller section by creating a new collection, manually add your best products to it and then by adding this as featured collection on home page you can show these products to visitors.

@Lunatraveltote how many products did you add to collection? is it like it will show arrow on smaller screens? please check all the options
Hmmm I did all the things, managed to sort - manual - drag and drop to which ones I want first, and the SAVE button is grayed out!!!
HI no, I did a collection of 5, and a collection of all products as I noticed the ones in the best seller section are the first 4 items on my home page. I clicked sort and manual and was able to drag and drop and reorder them in collections, but then the save button is grayed out, so I can’t save it?
may be it is saved automatically, please clear cache and check
