Someone created a bogus store account using my email. How do I close this account

Hello @Daniel_41 ,

I received various emails from Shopify (“Say Hello to your new store”, “Confirm your email address” and “A new device has logged in to your Shopify account”). The email “A new device has logged in to your Shopify account” showed it was from a Russian IP address. As I am not located in Russia, this caught my attention. To prevent further use of my email for this unauthorized and nefarious activity, I reset the password and contacted Shopify.
