How do I close my online store if invoice payment fails?

Hello,

Can someone please assist in closing my store. It won’t allow me and getting an error message “invoice payment failed”. Upon checking the billing, I was still billed for the Loox app that did not notify me to cancel subscription. Also, there was a subscription and transaction fees billed as well but I did not have any sale at all since my store is just starting up. I paid for the Shopify Plan for $29 to test how to run a store but I do not have the budget to pay for the rest that was billed to me. I just want to close my account as I did not really focus on it and felt that I wasted a month subscription. Please assist. Thank you in advance.

Hi, @chotto .

Thanks for your message, we are sorry to hear you are looking to cancel your shop, but I would be happy to offer you some assistance moving forward. Store cancellations are not something the Shopify community would be able to help you out with, we’ll need to access your account in order to help you with this issue. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit our Help Center here and log in to your account to create a support request. Once you reach a live support member they will be able to access your account and help you out with the next steps to resolving this. In regards to the invoice you received from the LOOX app, you may need to reach out to the app developers to request a refund, which our support team can also get set up for you.

Feel free to reach back out here if you have any questions, we are always happy to chat!
