Hi, i’ve run performance scanning on my store and found some issues with heavy js, it showed “https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0291/1407/3223/t/1/assets/ndnapps-contactform-script.js?v=1050579088640666309”
I removed the app, *ndnapps (*it is some feedback form) but the faulty js remained.
How to remove it totally? Is there some way to prevent apps from messing with your store?
Thanks
PS While writing this post I found and removed this js from assets in theme files, but there’s still a request for this js
Hey Christo,
From what I understand apps now require a “clean up” step that prevents this from happening, but that didn’t used to be the case.
I’d be happy to take a look at your store for you and see about removing that JS call.
I can request access to your store if you send me the URL. You can either put it here or send me an email at zmiller@hey.com.
I’ll be around.
Check your theme.liquid file.
That’s where most apps call their assets.
If it’s not in there, take a look at the template(s) where the app was interacting on store, it should turn up.
Hey ZakMiller, thanks, sent a letter!
Joesldeas, thanks, I’ll check it!
