How do I disable the Reward Program on my ecommerce site?

As the administrator of my Shopify site, I can’t locate information about Shopify Rewards program. I’ve had a customer notify me that when they tried to apply REWARDS points, online sales shop wouldn’t accept. I wasn’t even aware this Rewards Program existed. I can’t find the setting or place to adjust rewards option as the administrator. I don’t recall ever offering this option to customers. I will honor the request but I want to eliminate the rewards program on my site. I will appreciate any guidance from the Shopify community. Thanks.

So, I’m not familiar with the ‘Shopify Rewards Program.’ I did some digging into some internal resources and I see no mention there of this program, as well. This leads me to believe that such a thing doesn’t exist, and that your customer may be confused about something called ‘Loyalty Programs’ - which are systems merchants can add to their individual stores using third party apps.

Do you recall installing any third party apps that provide loyalty programs for your customers? You can check by logging into your store and going to the ‘Apps’ menu option located on the left-hand menu of your Admin.

I’m also curious to see what information on your store suggested to this customer that this reward program existed. There may be nothing there, but there could be something. Can you please share with me a link to your store, and also let me know what product the customer was trying to purchase, so I can see if I can re-create their cart in the checkout and see what info may have been presented to them?
