How do I fix an address error on the Information page at checkout?

Hi,

I have a problem with the address field on the Information page at checkout. The field for ‘Apt, suite, etc’ is coming up as a required field. How do I change it so that it’s not compulsory?

Thank you for your questions.

You can follow these steps below to change this address field to an optional option.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Checkout.

2. In the Form options section, click Optional on Address line 2 (apartment, unit, etc.)

3. Click Save.
