I built a store on Shopify and I was completing my Account setup and they are asking for the USA address and SSN but I am not in the USA so How can I provide them USA address and SSC (Social Security Number) ?

If you do not live in the U. S, it is not easy for you to give an address in the United States or SSN when using Shopify Payments; use a third-party gateway e. g. PayPal or Stripe and input your address from home country.
If that is the case, one can opt to create a U. S. LLC by obtaining an EIN and liaise with Americans that have SSNs for verification purposes, although they will need to seek Shopify Support’s consent first.

You could open an LLC business in the United States. That would give you an address + an EIN (like a SSN, but for businesses).
I’m currently trying to set up Shopify Payments for a business, but when I go through the Shopify Payment options it requires a SSN and there’s no option for EIN/ITIN. What should I do in that case?
