How do I grey out 'not in stock' products

Wondering if anyone know how to I grey out ‘not in stock’ products.

I know how to grey out the out of stock button, but how can the whole product selection still be viewed but greyed out or opaque automatically when out of stock?

In this case you can try to update some code in theme code to add the function.

Look on the images,
2 images are 2 files.
Follow each of them to change the code and actually the Craft theme and Dawn theme are the same code, they only different on visual
