How do i have the slashed prices on the cart, checkout, as well as the bill (order printer app)?

hi,

I have added a sale on certain products on my store

i did this by adding the "compare to"price. But it doesnt show xyz% off along with the slashed price. And the sale/slashed price only appears on the product page. Not in the cart, checkout or the bill. how do i edit the code for this? or what way can i make it happen?

because the sale is simply useless without it
