How do I hide my blog post date and author from Dawn theme?

I tried this method and it didn’t work.

  • Dawn theme has the option to do it.
  • Go to customize the theme. ( Online Store > Themes > Customize )
  • From the top center drop-down select Blog Post > Default Blog Post
  • From the left sidebar select Blog Post > Title
  • Uncheck the date.
  • This will hide the date on all blog posts.

I’d be grateful for any help please. Thanks in advance!
