Hello,

I’ve been using Shopify for two years, I am continuing to love the service, and have been learning more about it as I continue to grow.

I’m asking the community for support and answers to a questions, feel free to expand on your answers, I’m still learning, I might reply, and would love your knowledge. Thank you

I have an online store, and would like to connect to a lot of online marketplaces, I understand that there is marketplace connect, and I think it works well. There was a point in time someone told me they had 23 different online paths that their Shopify was connected to, that automatically links their products to these “23” market places online that helps prevent against having to use multiple integrators that may or may not need to be updated as time moves on. Does anyone know of how this works or what would be the best solution to this problem I am facing? Thank you so much, I am looking forward to your ideas, thoughts, and feedback.

Last time I checked Marketplace Connect was disconnecting Etsy or something to that effect. But there are plenty of apps to search in the Shopify App Store. I don’t know of any single app that connects everything, so you’re probably going to have to search and find a few of them.

That’s a bit why I’m scared of marketplace and developing my platform with it. Like I said, it works good, but, I’ve heard rumors that it can break, you may need to update it… so on and so forth.

Hopefully someone replies with some integrators that has a lot of experience with distribution.

You know I’m sure there are many great solutions, I’d love to hear more from you and the community. Also, before I dive into my paragraph too deep. I’ve really admired the support forums here so far, even with me two postings.

yeah, he mentioned something about a single app or integrator, Hope I’m using the right terminology here.

I’ll definetly take a look into some of the options you’ve mentioned so far. But yes, I think some of the main apps that are specifically from company’s designed specifically for their channels is great.

so we distribute goods for our nice, let’s just say, random collectibles and have multiple distribution company’s, we are hoping to find one tool, that we can add our marketplaces to. We use Depop, eBay, discogs, mercari, etsy, instagram, facebook, tik tok, and many more popular channels, and I’ve heard down the pipeline, the safest method is to use, some sort of a singular tool, to manage these multiple channels.

thanks so much everybody here for your input.

I’m still getting the hang of API, and building things with GitHub, but need more time to develop the skills necessary to understand the fine lines, as this is very programmatic.

hi. yes, you are right.

shopify’s native marketplace connect app helps you connect your store and sync products to different marketplaces such as amazon, ebay, etc. if your requires extend beyond this, go with standalone solutions such as ‘TikTok’, ‘Facebook and Instagram’, ‘Google & YouTube’ apps, etc.

in addition to these native solutions, you also get third-party solutions such as AdNabu, that can help you generate platform-compliant data feed URLs for leading marketplaces such as Meta, Amazon, Snapchat, etc., which help with error-free and seamless product data sync.
