I am new to shopify. I have multiple items listed. Same product, different colors. The products come from Subliminator. I have learned how to create variants in shopify. I am confused how Subliminator or any other app knows what the items and colors are when a customer would order. Is there a way when creating the variant to point it to a current item I have listed? I confused.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some guidance with setting up products and variants, to ensure this gets resolved.
To clarify, are variants that were created within Shopify also available within the app being used (i.e color black is available within the app)? If so, it seems the app Subliminator will automatically sync every order that is placed as long as it was created within the app.
To confirm the app is successfully set up however, I would recommend contacting the app developer directly to ensure this. You can head to the Shopify App Store to locate Subliminator and select Support > Get Support to be in touch. They will be able to confirm orders will sync automatically to ensure no issues arise moving forward.
