I am using Venue theme and have a slideshow within one of my pages. I’ve reduced the image size but the images are still really big. On the homepage slideshow I have the option to choose the section height but don’t seem to have this for slideshows within pages. Can anyone help?
This is the first time I’ve built an online store via Shopify so my knowledge is slightly limited.

I believe it stretched out so much is because they are portrait images. It’s better to use landscape images when using sliders because generally that’s what it’s meant for.
I can use code and fix it a little, but either way I don’t think is visually appealing
Option 1, limit height but use image’s true width:
Option 2: Limit Height and stretch image
Again, both not really appealing visually. You should try to use landscape images on sliders like this. The problem should fix itself once you use landscape images. If it’s still a little too big for landscape, I think we can fix that without compromising anything.
