How do I make the white banner on my password page transparent instead of white on desktop & mobile?
Also, how would I change the text in that box (store is currently closed, keep up with drops and email box) to be white?

Thank you. That did the trick.
How do I do the same for mobile? That code changed the desktop version but on mobile, I still see black text and a white cover. I can’t see the cover photo on mobile.

Due to your banner image does not show on mobile (I’m not sure what setting it is on the theme)
and the box show below banner image
maybe you are enabled setting on the theme
so I’m not custom on mobile (white text on white background)
You can try disable this setting
after that I can support further.
