Basically, because my dropshipper (CJDropshipping) is not sending kitchen knives legally in the UK, by organising age verification at the door with UK delivery services, I am taking it upon myself to ensure this.
My goal is to have UK kitchen knife orders sent to my home, where I can put on a label which will ensure the at-door age verification and then send it off to the buyer. Is it possible to have dropshippings orders on specific products sent via my house without disrupting the tracking order, and provided they are a UK buyer?
Yes it’s possible. The exact workflow will depend on your dropshipper. I would contact them and explain your situation.
For example, you could say that any orders that contain a certain product, ship that order to you instead of the listed address.
Or if they don’t want to do that, ask if they can ship orders with a certain tag to you. If they give you time to add the tag before picking up the order, then you can do that either manually or auto tag with an app (like Order Automator).
When I ran a store we a couple dropshipping partners mixed in with our regular manufactured products. We created a relationship with each one, and by having good standing and explaining the situation, we were able to make reasonable requests.
