Im not sure how to explain my issue, so look at the image ive attached. Essentially on my website it shows up some sort of banner about shopify, this does not come up when i edit my store from inside shopify.
anyone have a fix?

Don’t worry, it’s because the browser you log into Shopify with is using your Shopify account.
The gray part is the toolbar to help you enter Shopify admin faster.
If you go to your live page with another account or another window that doesn’t use the email you’re in with Shopify, that won’t happen.

It is showing due to you are logged in your store and previewing it on same browser so thats why shopify things showing on left side of window.
It will not show for the live customers don’t worry.
