How do I remove the delivered marked on a shipping confirmation email

Topic summary

A merchant noticed a green “Delivered” label appearing in the top-right corner of shipping confirmation emails sent to customers immediately after fulfilling orders, before packages actually arrive.

Clarification provided:

  • The “Delivered” marker refers to the email itself being successfully delivered to the customer’s inbox
  • It does NOT indicate the physical package has been delivered
  • This is standard email delivery confirmation, not order tracking status

Suggested solution (if removal still desired):

  • Navigate to Settings > Notifications
  • Locate the shipping notification template
  • The label likely appears as a variable that can be deleted
  • Save a backup copy before making changes

The confusion stems from the label’s placement and wording, which could mislead customers about their package status.

I noticed recently that when we fulfill an order the confirmation email sent to customer now has a green box on the top right corner that says Delivered.

However it is not delivered it is just on it’s way or waiting for collection from the courier.

How do I remove this from the shipping confirmation email to customers? Has anyone else had this issue.

Appreciate any help.

If it’s in the shipping notification, you should be able to edit that in Settings > notifications. I would guess that shows up as a variable that you can just delete (save a copy first though in case you need to revert).

Hey @Dan_808 ,

I see why that might be confusing! That ‘Delivered’ label in the green box actually refers to the email being successfully delivered to the customer, not the actual package. So no need to worry, it doesn’t mean the order has been marked as delivered.
Hope that clears it up!
