Can anyone help me remove the vendor names from my product pages for the STUDIO theme specifically? I’ve found instructions which seem to work for other themes, but I don’t have product page / vendor options that I’m seeing for the Studio theme. Thanks!
To remove the vendor name from product pages in the STUDIO theme, you will need to modify the theme’s code. Here are the steps you can follow:
- From your Shopify admin panel, go to “Online Store” and click “Themes.”
- Locate the STUDIO theme and click “Actions” and then “Edit Code.”
- In the left-hand sidebar, navigate to the “Sections” folder and click on “product-template.liquid” to open it.
- Find the line of code that displays the vendor name. It should look something like this:
{{ product.vendor }}
- To remove the vendor name, simply delete this line of code or comment it out by surrounding it with {% comment %} and {% endcomment %} tags like this
{% comment %}
{{ product.vendor }}
{% endcomment %}
- Save your changes by clicking the “Save” button at the top right of the screen.
Once you’ve completed these steps, the vendor name should no longer appear on your product pages in the STUDIO theme.
Thank you for these detailed instructions! I attempted this, but there is no"product-template.liquid" under the Sections tab. Any other ideas on where to find/edit this?
