How do I safely share my new e-commerce website link on Instagram?

Hello, I’m technically brand new to this E-commerce and or building a website.

I have completed building my Shopify store ,which was huge for me.I’m ready to launch.

where specifically, do I copy My URL from so that I can paste to my IG?..I’m so afraid that once I

copy&paste its going to take straight in my Shopify account.

Congrats this launch, wooohooo!!

Have you set up a custom domain (yourstore.com) or are you using shopify’s (yourstore.myshopify.com)?

Have no worries about this, the only link that would take people to your account would be yourstore.myshopify.com/admin >> and even then they would need your username and password to access.

yes, I am using (Yourstore.myshopify.com)

ok so that is reassuring, so where do i go to copy the URL to paste it to IG?

Hi Rita,

You can just type it like that on IG and Instagram will make it work.

Or you can go to the view eye next to online store in your admin and that will take you to your store. You can then copy the link and paste it.

Ideally, I would suggest to buy the custom domain, you can do this in Settings > Domains > Buy New Domain. This will make your store look more professional and customers will trust it more.
