Please how do I create an expert account on the Shopify marketplace set up my profile completely and start working for merchants who needs help for their stores

The Experts Marketplace is not available as public registration, but a selection of experienced Shopify partners and agencies. Providing exemplary Shopify work is an important part of what Shopify looks for in their Experts. Some tips to increase your chances of being selected in the future, is to continue to provide quality work and ensure you’re active in the Shopify ecosystem.

That’s great that you are interested in becoming a Shopify Expert! Our Shopify Experts are selected rather than “signing up”, so in order to be considered, you have to meet certain requirements. A brief outline of these requirements are:

  1. You have to be signed up as a Shopify Partner - this is free to do for anyone.

  2. Manage at least 5 clients successfully - this can be either building stores/apps depending on your area of expertise

  3. Have a proven history of excellent customer service and adherence to Shopify policies

Once you have met all the requirements, you may be approached to become a Shopify Expert. Shopify selects partners who have proven to have valuable knowledge relevant to Shopify. These partners can be individual freelancers, small creative studios, or full-fledged agencies that offer a particular set of skills that are useful to Shopify merchants in establishing and running their business. Partners in the Experts Marketplace will have benchmarks against which they will be evaluated. These benchmarks included, but are not limited to response rates, response times, conversion rates and quality of communications.
