How do I set up shipping rates for made-to-order apparel?

I am asking about setting up shipping rates.

The items I carry will be made to order, so shipping will be weeks to months away. The shipping origin is in the U.S. and I plan to ship to both U.S. domestic and international destinations.

If so, should I enter the weight of each individual item and then set the shipping cost? The products I will be handling are mainly apparel. We plan to offer free shipping on purchases over $200.

Please advise.

To set correct Shipping for your products you must enter the weights of each product into product’s weight section.

Also, to allow customers free shipping you can offer Free Shipping by selecting Order based pricing.

Then for a set of weights, you can set shipping like below.
