How do I stop Globo Product Options from adding options to product page

I’m using Globo Product Option to add options to my products and I’ve found that when I do add options, the options show up as products. Does anyone have any experience with this. I’m sure I must be missing a step somewhere along the line.

I am having this same issue. Did you figure out a solution?

I haven’t used or recommended globo app to anyone as a developer.

Can you please explain in a bit more detail about your requirement may be with some examples as well for a better understanding?

Best

Hi @CommDesign :raising_hands:

If you weren’t able to set up additional options without creating separate products using your previous app, you might want to consider trying Easify Product Options. With Easify Product Options, options are created and displayed directly on the product page, without generating separate products. As a result, they won’t appear in collections, search results, or as standalone product pages.

Here’s an example I’ve created so you can see how it works:

  • This is the result:

  • This is the app setting:

With Easify Product Options, you only need a single main product (for example, a Bedding Set), and then add all options such as Size, Color, Stripe, Fitted Sheet, Pillowcase, or Extras directly on the product page. These options function as true product options—not separate products - so they won’t appear in collections, search results, or as standalone products on the storefront.

This approach keeps the shopping experience clean and intuitive: customers interact with a single product page and simply select the options they want (just like in the demo you’ve set up), while the backend remains organized and easy to manage - without the “product clutter” caused by option apps that rely on hidden products.

You can absolutely use Easify Product Options to build complex configurable products such as bedding sets, furniture, or custom prints. If you need help setting things up according to your specific product logic, the Easify team is always happy to assist via the in-app live chat.

Hi

I hope you’re doing well. You can try the Inkybay – Product Personalizer app to create multiple color options without creating different products.

With the Product Option feature, you can easily create color options and display them as drop-down options, radio buttons, swatches, checkboxes, etc. Each variant can have its own image or swatch. When customers select a specific option, the corresponding image will show up automatically.

Inkybay also lets you create different product options like text fields, file attachment options, single/multiple choice options, etc. Also, you can set extra pricing for each option.

No coding is required, and a simple setup. The best part of Inkybay is that it offers a free 21-day trial and 24/7 live support, so you can explore it without any cost and see how it works for your product.

This issue usually happens because Globo creates dummy virtual variants or products in the background to handle custom option pricing, which can accidentally bleed into your main store catalog if your collection filters aren’t hiding them.

You can easily set this up using Misk Variant & Product Options to give your customers a great shopping experience. Simply configure conditional logic so that fields only show up in the user interface when they are actually needed.
