How do I switch from a $1 plan to a basic plan?

hello there,

I have been using $1 basic plan until I was ready to release my store online!

I would like to know how to change this plan to the real basic plan?

it’s a very easy and directive process. log into your website navigate to your account settings or profile check for an option like upgrade plan or change plan, click on it then you’ll see a list of available plans you can then select your choice. then make sure you review after that click on confirm if there is any need of upgrading your payment information do so then you’ll receive a confirmation message which shows you’re good to go.

the thing is i don’t see upgrade plan :disappointed_face:

I’m delighted to see that you were able to get some support from the Shopify Community! The $1 Shopify Basic is a promotional pricing for the Shopify Basic plan, so you likely don’t need to make any changes to your plan. After the promotion ends, you’ll be automatically moved to the standard monthly price for Shopify Basic. However, if you’d like to learn how to update the plan, then you can do that directly from your Shopify admin and we’ve also got a step-by-step guide on that here: Update your plan.

Since it looks like you’re ready to launch your store, then I’d love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?

Thanks for you reply, is it possbile to connect my payment gateway with the $1 dollar basic plan? I wanted to change the plan because I’m going to apply for my PG in S.Korea.

Does the $1 dollar basic plan works just as the the $19 Baisc plan ?

The Shopify Basic plan on the promotional pricing is the same plan as the full-priced Shopify Basic, so there isn’t any differences aside from the price and you can configure a third-party payment gateway at anytime. However, since I’m not sure which payment gateway you’re looking to connect, then I’d recommend checking our list of supported payment gateways in South Korea.
