How do I track monthly sales of taxed items in my online store?

Hello,

I’m trying to find out how much of an item (for example wine/beer/soda) I sold in a month to pay sales tax. My online store also sells prepared foods, ice cream. Those items are not taxed. I have them properly

Type your store link and add /admin immediately after .com then go to order

Hi @kjagjiwan ,

You may have a look at the Sales by product report to see the total sales of an item you made per month. If you want it to show the product variant, you can check the Sales by product variant SKU report. With each report, you can select any date range as you wish.

You can find them at your Shopify admin > Analytics > Reports > Sales.

Using Cube Reports you can see taxes by product or even variant level in a certain time period such as quarter, month, year, split down by billing state if desired.

Welcome to Shopify Community! You can log in your store admin and following the steps here:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Analytics > Reports.
  2. In the Sales section, click Sales by product.
  3. For the date range, select Last 30 days.
