How do I transfer my domain to a new store?

hello dear ! i want to transfer my domain fashionaccessories.pk from my old shopify store to this store.

Do you mind if I ask why you are starting a new store? Are there any features you are trying to add to this new store? Also to double check, is your domain currently being managed by Shopify? Or are you still using a third party domain provider to manage your domain?

If you are using a Shopify managed domain you can transfer it to a new Shopify store following these steps here. However, if your domain is managed by a third party domain provider you will want to remove the domain from the store it’s connected to following these steps and then you will be able to connect the domain to your new shop following these steps here.

You could definitely do it in the same store, but you run the risk of missing data/settings that should be changed,..I would strongly recommend starting a new store.

If you know a partner they might be willing to create a development store for you.. which lets you develop as long as you need until you are ready to go live, unlike the normal free trial. They will get a commission on your monthly fees, but it doesn’t cost you anything more.

Hi @Uzair3 . You can remove the domain from your old store following these steps here. Are you having trouble accessing this store?

I won’t be able to access your store details over the Community, but if you are having trouble accessing your old store I would recommend reaching out to our Support Advisors from this page. They would be able to view your account and help you out further.

Once you visit the link I shared you can follow these steps to request support:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Type keywords for your issue into the search field and click Search.
  3. You will then notice common questions and help guides related to your issue. Under that you will see the option to Get support. Click Continue.
  4. Then you will see the options to chat with us, email us, or request a callback.
