Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
You mentioned that you are working on setting up your Google Analytics. How far along the setup process are you? We have a great guide on our Shopify Help Center here that goes over all of the necessary steps to set this up.
It also seems that you need to update to the latest version of your Google analytics in order to use Enhanced Commerce. Here are the steps on how to do so:
Sign in to Google Analytics. From the Admin page, select the account and property you want to upgrade.
Head over to the property column and click Universal Analytics Upgrade.
In the section called Transfer to Universal Analytics, click Transfer.
Following this, you may need to wait two days for the account transfer to be completed. Rest assured, there are many great resources online that will help you along the way if you run into any issues.
I’d love to know more about your business! What products are you currently selling and how are you planning to leverage Google Analytics to grow your business?

Thank you for sharing more information about your business. That’s great to hear, being in a niche is an effective way to narrow your scope and focus on a particular target audience. This is beneficial when it comes to targeted advertising. Speaking of so, are you currently running any social media advertisements through Facebook, Instagram and Google? These platforms allow you to curate campaigns directly to your audience. For more information on this, along with a variety of marketing campaign ideas, check out our Shopify Blog here.
Since you mentioned that you have just launched, I suggest viewing The General Checklist as it’s great tool that will ensure that you have your Shopify store all set up. You can go through the check list and be confident that you have a finished product, that includes having your media, shipping and check out all in working order. To further optimize your site and create organic traffic, feel free to check out this resource on how to increase SEO, which will help increase your store’s discoverability by using relevant keywords that your target customers will likely search for on Google.
I’d also suggest adding Shopify Inbox to your shop. This app allows you to interact with potential customers and provide tailored recommendations if they have any questions regarding your product. This is done through a chat option that is located directly on your store and integrates with other messaging channels like Facebook Messenger and Apple Business Chat. Take a look at our Shopify Inbox Guide on how to set this up.
To assist you further, feel free to share your current marketing initiatives and what you are doing to promote your brand. Are you targeting a specific demographic?
