It’s populated automatically when you create a label with Shopify, as it says in the help:

The label status indicates the status of Shopify Shipping labels in the fulfillment process, which can include:

  • Draft

    : The label has been created but not yet purchased.

  • Pending Purchase

    : The label is ready to be purchased but hasn’t been completed yet.

  • Purchased

    : The label has been bought and is ready for use.

  • Pending Cancellation

    : The label is in the process of being canceled.

  • Canceled

    : The label has been canceled and is no longer valid.
