Getting a grip on your store’s SEO is a really good idea! It really helps to think of SEO like research papers: The more your paper is referenced in other papers, the more people believe yours to be true or good or popular. If this were quantified and ranked - yours (referenced the most) would be at the top of the list. The same goes with links. The more that your website is linked (referenced), the more Google assumes it is true and good and popular and will bring you closer and closer to the top of the list. You want to get to the top of the list because, if you are making custom water bottles made out of recyclable materials and someone searches in Google “custom recyclable water bottles” and you don’t get near the top of the list, chances are that that customer won’t find you.

So how do we move you up that list? A great starting point is reading over the Google Starter Guide. Do you know the top 5 keywords for your store? If you aren’t sure on this, then I would highly recommend reading over this blog post as it gives you a great foundation to work from. Best of luck to you!
