I am trying to change some of the copy in my Abandoned POS checkout email. I can change the headlines and button copy, but there’s copy below the button that’s not in the code. It’s the part “Welcome to our shop, hope you enjoyed the experience” that I want to change. Help?
To change email copy not directly in the code for Shopify emails like Abandoned POS checkout:
1-Go to Notifications Settings:
- Navigate to Settings > Notifications in your Shopify admin.
2-Find the Relevant Notification:
- Locate and click on the Abandoned Checkout Email template.
3-Edit the Email Content:
- Scroll through the template editor to locate the copy you want to change.
- If it’s not visible, it might be using Shopify variables or snippets. Look for placeholders like {{ … }} and check their source.
4-Check Language Editor:
- If the text is not editable in the notification template, go to Settings > Languages.
- Search for the specific text (“Welcome to our shop, hope you enjoyed the experience”) and update it there.
5-Save Changes:
- Make edits as needed and save.
This should allow you to update the desired text.
