I’m curious how other Shopify store owners approach this.
For those in competitive niches (fashion, beauty, lifestyle, etc.), do you actively monitor competitor sites for changes like pricing, promos, homepage messaging, or launches — or is it more of an occasional manual check when something feels off?
I’m currently building a Shopify app in early beta and trying to understand whether this is a real day-to-day pain point or more of a “nice to have” for most stores.
Would love to hear how others handle this today.
