Use Amazon to see what products are selling in various categories. You can check the best seller ranking to estimate sales. There are tools that can help you with this, it’s been awhile since I sold on Amazon but I remember Jungle Scout being good.
Other than that, I would check Youtube for guides on this type of thing. Some great info on Youtube.
