I have more than 10 stores on this platform and I never get proper support anytime I have an issue. I usually contact with support team via chat. They act like they are reporting issue to someone else. But they never response me back. After a while I check my support inbox and I see that they already closed my tickets. I just spoke to someone today. They said they escalated the issue to higher department. When I check my active cases. I saw that they already closed the case.
Hey @John_Un ,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had this experience. If your support case was closed before the issue was resolved I’d recommend contacting Shopify Support again and sharing your previous case numbers so they can review the history.
You can also ask the Support Advisor to confirm whether the escalation is still with the specialized team or if a new escalation is needed. This should help you get an update on your case and avoid repeating the same troubleshooting steps.
Thank You !
Hey @John_Un
Can you tell me more about your problem? I know that Shopify support is a little lazy when it comes to prior support. I might be able to give you the right direction depending on what your problem is.
Also, a quick heads up. Doesn’t matter if you have 10 or 100 stores, Shopify would still provide you the same support they provide to everyone ![]()
Best,
Moeed
Hi @John_Un
Hi, I’m Vineet from Identixweb, a Shopify development company.
I understand your frustration. When you manage 10+ stores, unresolved support cases can become a serious business issue, especially if tickets are being closed before you get a clear answer.
What I’d suggest is to reply back on the closed case and clearly ask for it to be reopened, with the case number, store URL, screenshots, and a short summary of what is still unresolved.
Also, when chatting with support, ask them to confirm in writing whether the issue has actually been escalated and what the expected follow-up process is.
If the same issue is happening repeatedly, keep one document with all case IDs, dates, support responses, and screenshots. That makes it easier to show Shopify that this is not a one-time issue.
Since this is account/support-related, the Community may not be able to solve it directly, but documenting everything and pushing for a proper case escalation is the best next step.
Hi @John_Un
I understand your frustration. Could you please let me know what kind of support you usually need? Is it mainly related to Shopify development, technical issues, or something else? I may be able to help or guide you in the right direction.
That’s frustrating, especially with multiple stores. Keep a record of your case IDs and ask for an escalation reference during chat. If tickets are being closed without resolution, share the case numbers here so a moderator can investigate and help get your issue to the right team.
