I often get hit with the error message:
The following images could not be added:
- “_DSC7956.jpg” exceeds 20 megapixels
Having come from Squarespace where Squarespace would just automatically resize the image down I am always jarred by that error. I have to go to https://www.shopify.com/tools/image-resizer upload the image(s) there then download it and then upload it again where I was originally trying to put it. Anyone else frustrated by all those extra steps when it seems like other platforms have that functionality built in seamlessly? What workflow do you use to get around that? Do you have two copies of all your images, one at the original high resolution and the other at a lower res?
