Hi everyone,
I’ve been looking at store analytics lately, and something caught my attention.
Sometimes traffic numbers go up, but sales don’t really change. Other times, with much less traffic, orders start coming in.
So it made me think that not all traffic is the same.
At what point do you usually realize the traffic coming to your store is actually the right kind of traffic?
Curious to hear how others notice that shift.
What is a store link?

Hello @Ayse.AfilliateGrowth ,
Traffic alone doesn’t mean much unless it’s the right intent traffic.
A few signals usually tell, traffic quality is improving:
When visitors begin spending more time on product pages, viewing multiple products, or adding items to the cart. That usually means the traffic is actually interested, not just curious clicks.
Even if purchases are still low at first, a rising add-to-cart rate is often the first sign that the audience is becoming more relevant.
When people come back to the store after discovering the brand, it usually means the targeting or organic traffic is starting to align with the product.
Conversions become more consistent, Instead of random orders, you start seeing sales coming regularly from the same channels.
For a brand like yours that focuses on sustainable linen and bamboo clothing, the best traffic often comes from people already interested in sustainable fashion or slow fashion, not just general fashion shoppers.
So the shift usually becomes visible when traffic sources start bringing people who were already looking for that type of product, rather than broad audiences.
Curious to know are most of your visitors coming from ads, Instagram, or organic search right now? That usually makes a big difference.
That makes a lot of sense. The add-to-cart point is interesting; it really does feel like the first real signal that the traffic is starting to match the product.
And I agree about intent too. Traffic from people already interested in a niche usually behaves very differently from broad audiences. Appreciate you sharing that breakdown.
Thank you for sharing. That is a nice store, a lot of things done right. Good theme, colors, fonts, images, good amount of text.
I would add a collection description, more for SEO. And the product page needs a bit more work. You have product description duplicated, and add to cart is a bit low. Should be organised better and with more trust signals, reviews, and icons of customer reassurance.
So it is probably overall customer feeling, good images, and the whole presentation is good for a lot of people, but for some, an extra push is needed.
Engaged sessions + ATC > 7d avg plus buyer shout-outs = real traffic.
