How do you show a single variant on a collection page?

We’ve got a scenario where a customer can get a FREE 25ml product variant, however the product has 2 variants. 10ml and 25ml. And on the collection page you have to click on “choose options” to get to the product page and select it. Is there a way (using liquid), to only show the 25ml product variant on the collection page, allowing the customer to add to cart at that moment, rather than click into it?

The workaround I have thought of is to create 25ml (only) versions of this product as individual products, but that would end up causing havoc with SKU’s and stock inventory etc.

This can be done using liquid code, it might be a time consuming task.

You have to contact with a shopify developer.

I thought so. We decided to split up the variants into individual products which is much easier to manage.
