How does daily payout work for Australian Shopify users?

Hey everyone, just a quick question.

Made $711 in orders our first 2 days. I have searched this topic over and over just hoping for some anecdotal advice from my fellow Australians.

Payouts set to “every business day”.

under list of transactions payout is listed as “10th may”. Does this mean 10th may Shopify will payout or 10th of may it will be bank processed and in the account.

at the time of post status is still “pending” in transaction list.

In Australia, the pay period is 2 business days. I would contact the Shopify support regarding this. There might be a hold in your bank or some sort.

It is true that there is a period of processing that the payouts have to go through before they are received in your bank account.

By setting the payouts to every business day, you ensure that you receive them as soon as possible, after the due processing has been completed. Seeing that your payouts are in transit is completely normal.

First, your payouts are processed on our end before they can be sent. Once they appear as sent in your Shopify admin, you can expect an additional processing time, which depends on your bank - normally, this isn’t longer than 24-48 hours.

In your case, on the 10th of May your payout will be sent to you.

I am curious about the same. My business is in Australia. I had my first transaction went through on 26 Sep 23 (and transactions keep coming in until today). However the payout remains pending until today. How do I know if everything is alright? or if there issues?
