How does my store's legal policies look?

Hi @Markssxx ,
I’m Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. Seem like you’ve made great progress so far! Generally, I love your store’s design, it looks classic but professional. I just have some minor suggestions here:

1. Redesign the wheel pop-up

A general rule of thumb is that the most effective pop-ups for boosting conversion rates are either shown on a website after 15 seconds have passed or triggered by specific user actions or behaviors.

To enhance the conversion rates of your promotion, a great strategy is to present it when a visitor is about to leave the website, rather than displaying it right at the beginning of their session.

Exit offers occur when a website showcases a pop-up or promotional message as soon as a visitor moves their cursor towards the ‘close’ button in their browser or when they switch to a different tab.

These offers have been shown to retain approximately 10-15% of visitors who would otherwise exit the site, as they provide an incentive to stay or make a purchase.

2. Resize the sticky header

If your website visitors are looking for a particular product while browsing, what’s the usual action they would take? They might have to scroll all the way up to the page’s top to find the search bar, which can be a bit of an inconvenience. However, this issue can be addressed by introducing a sticky header, significantly improving the ease of navigation for your customers

Another thing you might care about is that the sticky header with the current logo might take significant space while scrolling with the logo above the navigation buttons. So I would like to suggest that you hide the logo and keep all the navigation buttons on the same row with the search icon to save more space for displaying the products.

3. Make the slideshow auto-play

The banner holds great importance in hero content. It serves as the initial visual that visitors encounter when they land on your website. You should convey your offerings to customers within the first 5 seconds of their visit.

It’s amazing that your hero banners can describe exactly what you are selling but you should make the slideshow autoplay so your customers will know there are more to explore.

4. Make the content readable

You can achieve that by increasing the spacing from the text to its blue block. Also, you should highlight some main keywords in this long paragraph for the visitors to quickly grab the need-to-know information.

5. Increase spacing among sections

This makes sure that your content would not be easily be overlooked.

6. Add more sections

You can pick up some informative sections to show on your homepage such as:

  • Instagram feed: Your Instagram content adds a fresh feel to your website by showing you’re active online and interacting with your customers.
  • Customer testimonials - customer feedback: Customer testimonials serve as evidence of the quality of your product. This segment will establish trust with potential customers. You have the option to display rating stars for individual products, or you can incorporate customer reviews in the form of text and photos.

Here is a demonstration of it:

For legal policy concerns, here are my suggestions for you:

1. Shipping policy

  • The timeframe provided (2-4 business days) seems quite short for international shipping, especially considering potential delays. It’s good to underpromise and overdeliver, so providing a slightly longer timeframe might be advisable.
  • Ensure consistency in the timeframe mentioned. You initially state “within 2/4 48 days”, which could be a typographical error. If you mean 2 to 4 days, you should clarify this.
  • Mentioning that some suppliers may take slightly longer is transparent. However, you might want to specify the circumstances under which delays may occur and how they will be communicated to customers.

2. Return policy

  • The policy is clear and easy to understand. There is a repetition of information regarding the 30-day return period. You can keep one statement about the 30-day return policy to avoid redundancy.
  • You might want to specify if there are any restocking fees or return shipping fees that customers should be aware of, and explicitly state whether customers are responsible for return shipping costs, especially if the return is due to a change of mind rather than a faulty item.

3. Other policies: They are good to me

And that’s my feedback! Hope it helps you boost the conversion rate.

Cheers!
