How does removing the 'ships from' option affect product availability?

So I had a question about the “ships from”. I have it now in my store but I don’t want customers to see this. However when I remove it, some variants disappear. So I wanted to know if customers can still buy the product if I remove it?

This option is very common for dropshipping suppliers to indicate the warehouse locations and where the product can be shipped from. Essentially, this is likely done to reduce the shipping costs and times for the customer. In other instances, it could be that certain variants are only available in certain locations. I’d suggest checking out Oberlo’s guide on this feature in which they go over how to remove the button and the effects of doing so. While most dropshipping applications are different, you can share the one you are using and I can take a closer look. Alternatively, you can reach out directly to the supplier.
