hello im new and i had a question regarding shipping. my shopify store deals mainly with print on demand products im currently use printful i saw on printful that shipping in the us was 3.99 however if i charge 6.99 does that mean i get the additional 3.00 in profit or does printful
Hi,** @readytolearn **!
No matter how much you charge your customers, you will need to pay Printful the amount that they quoted you. Using your example, this means that if you charge your customers $6.99 on checkout for shipping, Printful will only charge you $3.99. You’ll then be able to keep the additional $3 in profit for yourself. You can read more about this on Printful’s shipping blog here.
How is your Print on Demand store coming along?
We have a great Print on Demand course here on our Shopify Learn platform that I recommend taking a look at. It’s particularly useful for newer stores that have yet to launch, as it talks about how you can build your Shopify store from scratch and discusses ideas to generate traffic and sales via marketing.
Hello,
Hope you are doing well!!
Thanks for reaching out here, as you have mentioned that you are using Printful for print-on-demand products. If you mention 6.99 as a shipping cost then you will receive the same amount from your customers and then you only have to pay 3.99 to Printful and the remaining amount will be your profit.
