I want to list an item that has $0 cost and $0 shipping.
If I’m on the 2.6% and $0.30 per transaction tier:
What is shopify going to charge me for the transaction?
Is it just the $0.30 per transaction, and then no 2.6% because the total is $0 ?
Is that correct?

yes because transction have to go through whole process and their is no need of shop when you are selling 0$ products with no shipping. this really maker sense to have charges. @JT29
I do have a shop that sells “normal” items that have a price and shipping costs, I just have the occasional order that will be completely free.
So I just wanted to confirm the cost to me on this free item.

Bump on this if anyone knows.
We are working with a charity to give away a free product with no charge. It would be ideal if we are not charged a transaction fee as no money is exchanging hands
