How does Shopify identify order language in customer box?

Hello All,

One of our clients has a store in 3 languages.

When a customer places an order, Shopify identifies in which language the customer placed the order. Such information is displayed by Shopify on the Order page within the customer box.

My issue is that I am struggling to understand from where Shopify is storing that information so I can access it from API

Hi @Appify_Commerce ! Did you manage to find this out? I’m asking myself the exact same thing, and I don’t seem to be able to get to the bottom of it…

years later, exact same question. neither in the order data nor the customer data this seems visible.
