I am currently creating a website with custom t-shirts. Our Printify and Shopify stores linked. When we got our first order, I got charged $20.00 of the $30.00 sale. I just want to know if that’s how selling products work. Because I definitely cannot afford the initial cost. Also, when do I receive the money back?

In terms of how you would get paid by your customers for their orders, this would depend on the payment method used to capture their funds.
