im new here . how i can grow and make sell on my Shopify store. can anyone guide me
Hi, @Zohaib982 .
Welcome to Shopify and the Community, we’re so happy to have you! This is such an exciting time, and I’d be happy to help.
I’d first like to get a better sense of where you’re currently at with your store. Is it completely set up and launched? Have you started doing any promotion on social media? If you’d like to share your URL with me, I’d be happy to take a look and offer feedback.
I look forward to assisting you further!
Thanks for sending that over! I’m happy to provide some feedback for your store. I think these tips could help you improve your store even further and lead to more sales.
Prices
An aspect of your store that may be confusing to potential buyers is the range of prices. As I can see on the homepage, some items are priced low (under $10 for a dress) and some are priced extremely high (over $1000 for slippers):
I recommend checking out our pricing guide for an easy way to price your products!
Domain
I noticed you are using the default .myshopify.com domain that comes with your store, and I recommend adding a custom domain! You may find it difficult to establish your online presence without a custom domain as they help build trust and provide a sense of security while shopping online. By using a custom domain, you display ownership over your brand and enhance the trustworthiness of your business. You can check out this blog post to learn more about domains and how to add one to your store.
Your story
I noticed you don’t currently have an About Us page on your store. It’s a fantastic ways to help your customers get to know your story and really bond with your specific brand. I personally love to shop at stores that have a great story behind them. It can also help new visitors trust your site more! I see you have a section in your footer about shopping online, but it’s not specific to your store. You can check out this blog post for some inspiration, as well as a template!
Promotion
I wanted to share this blog post on free ways to promote your sales, which in turn can increase your sales! There are some valuable insights included, so it’s worth checking out:
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi, @pawanmittal !
Thanks for reaching out — I’m happy to take a look at your store and offer suggestions.
Navigation
I noticed that some of the links in your header don’t lead to a specific collection page (some examples of this are Men > Innerware Upper, Kids > Boy, Kids > Girl, Winterwear > Women Thermal, etc.). When a customer clicks on those links, they aren’t directed to the page they’re looking for. I recommend editing your navigation to ensure your links lead to the right place! You can find more details on how to do that here.
Favicon
One feature you can easily add to your store is a favicon, which is the icon on the browser tab, as shown here:
Adding a favicon can help strengthen your brand and to add a polished look to your website. Sites will often use their logo or an image related to their business as their favicon. You can find the steps to add one to your store in this help document!
Social media links
I noticed that you have two sets of social media icons on your store, and they aren’t linked to your actual social media accounts. Clicking on them just refreshes the same page on your store. You can see what I mean here:
I recommend removing one set of icons, and adding the correct links to the remaining ones. You can find more information on how to edit your theme settings here!
I hope these tips help! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
