I have multiple suppliers. they are not directly connected to my shopify dashboard so how i can send orders to them automatically. so they can get order and deliver as soon as possible for fast shipping. if i send order manually it takes lot of time.
Topic summary
Main issue: Automate sending orders to multiple suppliers who arenât integrated with Shopify.
Key approach:
- Use Shopifyâs âCustom Fulfillment Servicesâ (a feature that lets you assign a custom fulfiller per product). When such a product is ordered, Shopify auto-sends an email to the supplier with product and shipping details so they can ship promptly.
Settlement and billing:
- Shopify does not handle supplier payments in this workflow. Suppliers should invoice you; settle monthly or per order outside Shopify based on your agreement.
- To track and organize what you owe, consider purchase-order apps (e.g., âPurchase Orders Proâ). If a supplier lacks invoicing, the process remains manual on their side.
Latest update / open question:
- A user asked whether the supplierâs email shows the retail sale price or only order/shipping details. This is not answered in the thread and needs clarification of the email contents or settings.
Status: Guidance provided on fulfillment; payment and price-visibility questions remain open.
Hey Shop3India,
Youâd want to use the âCustom Fulfillment Servicesâ functionality.
See here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/shipping/fulfillment-services/custom
This will allow you to create a âcustom fulfillment serviceâ for each of your suppliers, which you can then apply to your products. Whenever a product with one of these applied to it is purchased by a customer, an email will be automatically be sent to that supplier, saying that the customer purchased X-product(s) from your store, and that it needs to be shipped to Y-address.
Youâd need to settle with the supplier manually, but provided that you have an agreement with them, they can just bill you the totals each month, instead of having to deal with things on an order-by-order basis.
Hope the above helps! ![]()

Hi StephensWorld,
I would like to follow up on this reply if possible.
Do you know where I can find more information on how to settle with a supplier manually? Iâm in the process of setting up a store and a number of my suppliers are small businesses, so I will be using the âcustom fulfilment servicesâ functionality to send order details to them to be fulfilled.
I understand this process from an order fulfilment perspective, but I need to get back to suppliers with a proposed method for settling costs. Any information on how both options (month-end settling / order-by-order steeling) can run through Shopify or any advice on best practices would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Hey @Burnleys_Store
The suppliers you work with should have their own system for managing their invoices (it shouldnât be on you, as the âpurchaserâ to create your own invoices and then pay them). If they donât have any kind of system in place, then it would all probably have to be done manually â though again, that would be on their end, otherwise, you could just âmake upâ a total which doesnât equal the actual amount you owe them (not that youâd do this, but in theory, you âcouldâ).
You could look into âpurchase ordersâ apps from the Shopify app store. Something like this one (https://apps.shopify.com/purchase-orders-pro) might help you with at least being able to track and better organize/calculate what youâll need to pay (so that it doesnât come as a shock to you when itâs time to pay your suppliers).
Still, Iâd say this is a responsibility for your suppliers, and not you.
Thanks very much @StephensWorld !

Will the supplier see how much I sold the item for or will they only get details? The item is being sold at a different price then what I got it for from them the supplier.
