How long does it take for a domain transfer out to another provider? I have already activated my transfer code within Shopify, shared it with the new provider, and the new provider has made the request to Shopify to release my domain.
In most cases, the average .com domain transfer usually takes about 5-7 days.

[email removed]Nick_Marketing above is correct in advising it takes 7 - 10 days for the transfer to complete. If the transfer fails, it can take up to 20 days for the registrar to notify you of this.
